JOB DESCRIPTION
About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Income Officer to join our team in Oldham on a 12 month fixed term basis to cover maternity leave.
You will be responsible for completing manual and system processes for Income processing accurately and in accordance with procedures and timetables. You'll also ensure that the finance sub-ledgers are accurately maintained and that relevant control accounts are reconciled.
The working pattern of this role is as follows: Monday 5 hours, Tuesday 4.5 hours, Thursday 4 hours and Friday 4 hours. Our working style is hybrid, specific days to be agreed during the on-boarding process.
What we're looking for We're a customer-focused organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You'll not only have experience in a similar role, but you'll also have great attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
You'll also be able to demonstrate:
Essential:
- Experience of transaction processing
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Proven customer service experience.
- A commitment to team working and the ability to adapt to change and be flexible.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Good oral and written communications.
- Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
Desirable:
- Experience of using a housing management rent accounting system.
- Experience of using a finance system.
Essential Qualifications:
- Level 2 Maths & English qualification
