As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, including cutting, colouring, and styling, while ensuring that clients feel valued and satisfied with their experience.

Duties

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.
• Perform makeup application services as required to enhance client looks.
• Assist in store management tasks, ensuring the salon operates smoothly and efficiently.
• Mentor junior stylists and trainees, sharing knowledge and skills to foster their development.
• Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and greeting clients warmly.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations.
• Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all clients.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, barbering, and eyelash extensions to provide contemporary services.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry is preferred.
• Skills in makeup application are advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in store management or mentoring is beneficial for those looking to take on additional responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective client interaction and teamwork.
• A background in customer service will enhance your ability to create positive client relationships.
• Familiarity with barbering techniques and eyelash extensions is an asset that will set you apart from other candidates.

Pay: £11.80-£16.80 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 42 per week
