Quality Lead to join our West Kent Service. You will be required to undertake a quality improvement and development role, which will include creating and undertaking regular and cyclical audits of all aspects of service delivery, collating areas of best practice, implementing quality improvement plans and evaluating impact In fulfilling these aims, you will keep up to date with quality improvement progress across the sector, emerging evidence-based practice and new legislation including regulation
Where: Lewisham
Hours: Full time, 37.5hrs per week
Salary: £34,700.09 -£36,635.38 based on full time hours, dependent on experience
Allowance:£4,072.06 Inner London Weighting pro rata
Contract Type: Fixed Term until March 2025 Responsibilities:
About the role:- Be required to improve quality which will include creating and undertaking regular, cyclical audits of all aspects of service delivery and governance
- Identify areas of good practice and areas that need improving and formulate robust action plans.
- Implement these plans with all relevant staff, including leaders and front-line staff and will set up evaluation mechanisms to understand ‘what works'; impact of action plans in improving practice.
- Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure that the effective identification, assessment and management of risk and compliance with relevant legislation and policy and procedures are upheld across all services.
- Work with the Leadership team to co-ordinate integrated quality audits across all areas of service delivery in line with the organisational integrated audit cycles
- Ensure effective investigations are conducted for all incidents and ensure learning is disseminated appropriately throughout the service. You will collate lessons learned quarterly to collate themes and patterns to feedback to the whole service and include in the service quality improvement plan (SQIP)and contract monitoring reporting.
- Plan, Chair and contribute to team meetings to promote a learning culture, cascade information, and provide feedback mechanisms for staff on service delivery/developments.
- Provide coroner and CQC reports on behalf of the service when requested
- Support the analysis of service user feedback, complaints, and compliments, identifying themes, and developing/implementing service improvements in line with this
About you:- Experience of working in Social Care and the Drug and Alcohol field
- Knowledge and understanding of the recovery ethos
- Excellent organisational skills including time/energy management and the ability to prioritise both dynamically and longer-term
- Experience of conducting audits and reviews to inform evaluation of the service and identify areas for development
- The ability to analyse data, to prioritise problem/improvement areas and to define next steps, taking the team with you
- Experience of training groups with differing needs using a range of styles such as coaching and interactive workshops
