Continual liaison is then required with departments over the life of the project to provide advice and support, in particular when claims are submitted, or budgets adjusted.
    • Production of Final Expenditure Statements as required, to include a full reconciliation of the Project, which is to be agreed by the Department prior to despatch.
    • Liaison with departments to close finished projects ensuring that the process is completed on time, and that any residual balances are dealt with according to the sponsor's requirements and in line with University policy.

  • To provide data as required for the preparation of regular financial management reports on the University's research position.
  • To maintain effective channels of communication with relevant staff at sponsor and partner institutions, and informing the Team Leader and Operations Manager immediately of any concerns.
  • To deal with both internal and external queries, ensuring that these are dealt with effectively or escalated as appropriate. To use judgement to ensure that the Team Leader or Operations Manager are made aware of any issues as they arise.
