Job Responsibility:

To coordinate and allocate administration support to the team as appropriate. To provide a full medical secretary service to the Clinical Leads and providing support to the Consultants as needed. To develop admin activity processes as appropriate. We are looking for a medical secretary to join the children and young people's eating disorder service (CYPEDS), which is a countywide team covering Cornwall. You would primarily be based at Newquay Integrated Health Hub but there would also be some possibility of remote working on certain days of the week. You will provide a comprehensive administration service within CYPEDS. Providing secretarial support to the consultant, medical team and the wider team in an efficient and timely manner. You will work closely with the Senior Team Administrator and Administration Support Staff. You will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is well organised and has excellent communication skills. You will be flexible and used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines. The successful applicant will be proficient in Microsoft Word, audio typing and diary management. You will be an effective team player with a flexible approach who can plan and organise their workload, prioritising as required. The team will operate county wide and you will be expected to travel where required as part of the role. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability. We are a people organisation and people matter to us.
