Job Responsibility:

The George Hotel of Stamford has a very exciting (and rare) opportunity for a new reservation position to join our outstanding team.

You will be working 5 shifts per week, 8 to 8.5 hours per day, starting at a variety of times from 8.30 am, 9.30 am and 10.30 am. You must be happy to work weekends and be flexible in your approach.

A typical week might look like this:

Monday: 8.30am-5.30pm

Tuesday: 9.30am-6.30pm

Wednesday: 9.00am-6.00pm

Thursday: 10.30am-7.30pm

Friday : day off

Saturday: day off

Sunday: 9.00am-5.00pm

You will be dealing with guests over the telephone and in person, taking and inputting bedrooms reservations, restaurant bookings, business centre rooms and taking private dining functions.

You will preferably have some previous experience of hotel reservations and the hospitality sytem Alacer but most of all have a dazzling telephone and communication manner, be confident in your negotiating and have strong sales skills.

Pay: £8.85-£11.75 per hour
