Job Responsibility:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable Room Division Manager to join our luxury hotel brand. The Roseate Villa Bath occupies a quiet corner of the city, moments' walk from the heart of the iconic Bath, a city favoured for its heritage and cultural tourism.
The hotel encompasses two converted Victorian houses which have had a characterful legacy. It exudes a feeling of serenity in and around its grounds and offers wholehearted assistance to its guests who either seek informative excursions around the city or are simply in the mood for a nonchalant weekend getaway in the most beautiful city of Bath.
The ideal candidate must be a very responsible individual, with great attention to detail and possess the right attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the front of house and housekeeping teams.
- Ensure all staff are well-trained, motivated, and adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards are maintained.
- Handle guest complaints and issues promptly and efficiently.
- Oversee VIP guest arrivals and departures.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the department.
- Prepare and manage the housekeeping budget.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost control measures.
- Ensure rooms and public areas meet the hotel's cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Oversee the use of property management systems (PMS) and other relevant software.
- Stay updated on new technologies that could enhance guest services and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel management,
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
