Shop Assistant, Reality TV Pop up Shop TBA, Bluewater Shopping Centre

Event Merchandising is looking for engaging temporary staff to work in an exclusive 6-week pop up shop at Bluewater Shopping Centre from 24 June . Based on a popular reality TV show, it will be the first of its kind in the UK.

Interested candidates are invited to attend a drop in recruitment event at Bluewater shopping centre on Tuesday 18 June between 12:00 – 6:00 at The Learning Shop, The Village Upper Mall.

Part-time and full-time vacancies are available.

Job Description:

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated shop assistants to join our dynamic team at Bluewater Shopping Centre. As a Shop Assistant, you will be the face of our brand, providing excellent customer service, assisting with sales, and ensuring our store remains an inviting and enjoyable place for all visitors.

Duties:

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude
• Provide knowledgeable advice on products
• Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Maintain store cleanliness and organisation
• Restock shelves and ensure product displays are attractive and up-to-date
• Assist in inventory management and stock checks
• Participate in promotional events and marketing activities
• Address customer queries and concerns in a professional manner
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Flexible availability to work between 24 June to 4 July , including weekends
• Excellent English
• Must have a UK bank account and the right to Work in the UK

Hours: Shifts are scheduled 7 days a week during opening hours, with a rotating roster

Shop opening: June 25th , training day on June 24th

Salary: £12.50 /hour
