Job Responsibility:
Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant/Assistant SENCo to join our team at North Cambridge Academy. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant/Assistant SENCo, you will play a crucial role in supporting student learning and fostering a positive educational environment. This will be a varied and fulfilling role, which will combine working as a SEND HLTA (supporting pupils individually or in small group interventions) and implementing SEND strategies under the direction of the Assistant Principal for Inclusion. The role will also involve liaising with external agencies regarding pupil support plans, working with children and their families where assessments are needed (including Early Help assessments), updating pupil records as appropriate, collating and preparing information related to assessments, EHCPs and referrals to other agencies.
