£27,000 (equivalent to £45,000 full time)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Remote ECG analysing physiologist, where you will support our service in analysing and reporting on 12-lead ECGs and ambulatory ECGs acting as a clinical resource for Xyla. Key parts of your role will be supporting clinical operations teams with clinical administration, audit, reporting and staff induction. You will demonstrate integrity through open and honest communication, utilising active listening skills and a variety of communication styles to convey information effectively. Upholding clear ethical standards and adhering to safe working practices, you will ensure client satisfaction and retention by meeting their requirements and maintaining quality and regulatory standards.

Every day you will...

  • To provide physiologist reports on 12-lead ECGs and ambulatory ECGs in a timely manner in accordance with the service KPIs and to national standards.
  • Assist fellow remote Physiologists with clinical and operational queries and providing telephone support to Xyla staff with ECG-related queries.
  • Engage with clinical audit processes supporting a culture of continuous improvement in performance, quality and safety within each service area.
  • Support with the maintenance and distribution of all key training/support documentation for analysis staff, and at times for customers relating to ECG analysis and Sentinel use.
  • Working with senior management in the implementation of quality management processes and development and implementation of processes for ECG analysis services

To thrive in this role you must have...

  • BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
  • Experience within Cardiac Healthcare Science, at band 5 or above
  • Understanding of clinical audit and quality improvement methodology
  • Excellent communication, report writing skills and experience in partaking in quality management processes
  • Experience of working with Spacelabs technology
