Job Responsibility:
Great opportunity for a dynamic person, to use their initiative and gain core knowledge in supporting clients and experienced customs personnel within a high demand industry sector.
You will have a mature outlook, to liaise with key clients and customs covering import/export compliance:
- Work on own initiative to research Customs updates, within a team environment.
- Check CDS, TSS, UKIMS, Tariff Commodity Codes, Import and Export declarations.
- Analyse declaration returns and supporting paperwork to highlight issues and deal with any queries.
- Research HMRC updates to ensure company compliance requirements
- Respond to client queries and assist in compiling client SOPs.
- Accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Excellent organisational skills.
- Operations / Administration experience gained in a logistics environment.
- Experience with MS Office, Advanced Excel, Outlook & PC based Software.
