Key Aspects of the Role:
- Health and Safety Management
o Ensure health and safety documents are kept up to date (risk assessments)
o Allocate HSE responsibilities and duties for personnel, check understanding and provide training as necessary , including audits and reports
o Understand hazards associated with manufacturing aerosol and using flammable liquids and gasses
o Ensure health and safety procedures and projects are implemented
o Ensure subcontractors take appropriate steps to follow LMA procedures and standards
o Continually looking to improve systems throughout LMA
o Monitor and work on projects that occur throughout the business, both in on-going and specific internal projects that the business may apply for
o Continuous measuring of production output
o Improvement of production output levels
o Identify and implement changes at LMA that would improve production accuracy, efficiency and safety
o Review process progress and growth from the business as a whole
- Engineering Project Management
o Assisting the new engineering team in managing ongoing projects
o Follow up with some suppliers in relation to parts delivery and supplier-collaboration
o Help with the documentation and updating of troubleshooting guides etc
o Operational leadership reporting
o Employee Training
o Hold and assist in key management meetings
o Management of key systems such as fire and security systems.
Candidate Criteria:
Previous experience in the above areas. Some HSE qualifications (e.g. IOSH and/or NEBOSH) and familiarity with manufacturing environments are essential.
Salary will be dependent on candidate qualifications and experience (£34,000 to £40,000 + bonus)
