Job Responsibility:

Job Title: Tutor - Computer/ Digital Arts

Overview:We are seeking a creative Computer/ Digital Arts Tutor, on a sessional basis, to design and deliver inspiring and innovative art-based Computer and IT sessions and projects to adults with disabilities, autism and anyone who feels they may need extra support. Sessions may range from teaching basic IT skills to more advanced computer skills, such as ai, game design and creating sensory experiences for exhibitions.

Duties:· The tutor is required to design and deliver innovative and inspiring classes/ projects, with a focus on students' wellbeing and positive mental health.

· To create a positive, friendly group environment in which students feel included and safe.

· The tutor is responsible for the day-to-day communications of the project to the Project Managers and students regarding safeguarding or any other issues of concern.

Required Skills:Applicants must be both Mac and PC literate. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word as well as Adobe products, such as Photoshop, Premier Pro and Adobe Express is essential.

We love trying new things, so we are looking for somebody with an enthusiasm for discovering and learning new programs, in areas such as generative ai, game design and animation. Experience using programs such as Unreal, Mind maps and Scroobly are desirable but not essential. Preferred skills/knowledge and attitude:

· Experience in teaching adults or children with learning disabilities.

· Education to a degree standard or equivalent in a relevant subject.

· Excellent inter-personal and verbal communication skills.

· Positive and enthusiastic.

· A commitment to the aims and objectives of Community Focus.
