UX/UI Designer

Hours: Full time - 35 hours

Contract: Permanent

Location: Hybrid Working (Head Office, West Bromwich)

The West Brom are looking to recruit a UX/UI Designer to join our Digital Product Services on a permanent contract. You will be responsible for managing and improving the Society's design system, supporting the design and development of new digital channels - ensuring a consistent UX and UI approach. You will blend the science of user experience and the creativity of digital design to create a simple and memorable customer experience.

You will consider the overall customer experience and end to end journeys, ensuring well documented customer journey maps are in place. Working collaboratively with the digital product team, Research, BA's and Developers, you will ensure that your designs consider technical implications and work through challenges to ensure customer experience is protected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Society design system, supporting across the organisation to ensuring a consistent approach to customer digital interactions.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to visualize and iterate on design concepts.
  • Develop visually appealing and consistent user interfaces for our digital platforms, implementing the design system and considering our brand guidelines, ensuring accessibility standards are met.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the design process to align on project goals and priorities.
  • Iterate on design solutions based on user feedback, stakeholder input, and usability testing results.
  • Use an agile methodology to rapidly prototype, test, and refine design concepts.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience in designing digital journeys including wireframes, prototypes and user journey flows.
  • Knowledge of working in Figma
  • Understand of design systems
  • Experience of working in an Agile UX environment
  • Demonstrable strong communication skills
