Job Responsibility:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a prominent care organisation based in Inverness. We are currently recruiting for a Part time Trainer / SVQ Assessor for our expanding Training & SVQ Centre.
Applicants must have experience of working within Health & Social Care, as well as having excellent communication and presentation skills.
Role overview:
· To work with the Training and Development manager in developing, updating, and delivering training, or commissioning training from external suppliers.
· Evaluating how effective training has been.
· Assist with managing Training sales and bookings.
· Ensure that internal staff have the right skills and knowledge for their job roles.
· Assessing SVQ candidates - SCQF 6 & 7 In Social Services and Healthcare
Skills and Experience :-
· Ideally have PTLLS / Level 3 award in education and training qualification or equivalent and have experience in delivering training to groups.
· Must have L&D9D1 Assessor Award or equivalent.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and motivational skills
· Experienced in working hands on within Adult Health & Social Care
· Essential - Qualification in SVQ Level 3 in Social Services & Healthcare, or above
· Ideally be a qualified Moving and Handling Trainer, and / or First Aid Trainer.
· Computer literate and proficient in presentation software.
· Ability to think on your feet and problem solve
Duties will include:
Working under the guidance and direction of the Training & Development manager to Coordinate, develop, and deliver ongoing training to care / support staff working within the community.
Promote team building by actively participating in staff development through training, coaching, and mentoring employees. Identifying areas for improving individual and team performance.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £13.85-£15.00 per hour
