Job Description

We'd all like amazing work to do, and real work-life balance. That's waiting for you at Sainsbury's. Everything our Nectar team does is powered and fuelled by data — and by great relationships with some of the UK's favourite brands. The Nectar 360 team focuses on developing loyalty programmes, turning amazing data into something that makes a difference, traditional media and digital. It's like an agency-within-a-retailer, and retail media is crucial. The culture might not be what you expect either, because there's no set-up quite like this one. The team is a real priority because it's connected to everything the business does and drives profitability. It's where you can take risks, learn from them and be recognised. In a nutshell Nectar360 (N360) offers suppliers comprehensive multi-channel marketing solutions in and around Sainsbury's and Argos stores and online. We have a unique approach to store and customer planning. Using Nectar, the UK's most comprehensive customer database, their teams conduct advanced analysis to uncover new insights about shopper interactions and brands. This is an exciting opportunity for an Insight Executive to join the Nectar360 Data & Insight team, focused on the account management of our SIP (Sainsburys Insight Platform) clients sitting within the New Business division as well as future data commercialisation activities. We are looking for an ambitious Insight Executive with excellent communication and organisational experience to work with our suppliers, stakeholders, The Nectar360 Client Service team, and the Nectar360 Data & Insights team to drive the uptake of SIP as well as manage the contract renewals for those clients already subscribing to the platform. The use of SIP enables our business and suppliers to make more data led business decisions at great pace by unlocking the full potential of the platform. You'll act as an ambassador for Sainsbury's Insight Platform, running review sessions and demonstrations to both existing and prospective suppliers with a commercial goal to develop proposals, convert pipeline opportunities and secure contract renewals of our market leading insight platform delivering against our annual revenue Data & Insight target. A positive, forward-thinking, and can-do attitude is essential as you will be working in one of the fastest growing and dynamic areas of the business. What you need to do

You will ensure the Client Service team are regularly updated with the status of their client's SIP contracts, SIP usage and engagement, and you will follow up on all New Business leads / data & insight opportunities generated.
  • You will confidently manage client relationships and develop a deep knowledge of your client's business, working collaboratively with Client Services, to help and identify how SIP will improve their business decisions/opportunities with Sainsbury's and how they can maximise their SIP access throughout the course of their contract.
  • You need astute relationship management, including excellent interpersonal skills required both across the breadth of the Sainsbury's business including: Client Services, Data & Insight teams as well as external suppliers.
  • You should be naturally curious on industry trends and competitive threats, seeking out and demonstrating creative thinking in leveraging new opportunities to drive growth/relationship.

  • Coordinate and manage reviews sessions with all New Business clients subscribing to the platform to review current / renewal agreement and company usage.
  • Work with the Client Service and Finance teams to help bring-in aged debt from relevant clients.
  • Regularly review SIP usage amongst clients and proactively reach out to clients where usage is low and renewal may be at risk.
  • Support the team in ensuring all SIP opportunities are updated in our financial systems.
