JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a motivated Procurement professional/ Senior Buyer to form part of our alliance team. This role involves managing procurement activities, guiding technical and project management teams, and ensuring compliance with commercial and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Develop and manage contracts (reimbursable, fixed, target pricing). Negotiate terms and ensure compliance.
- Technical Specifications: Ability to guide project team colleagues in specifying requirements and aligning requirements to commercial arrangements.
- Procurement Processes: A solid understanding of procurement processes and terms & conditions, specifically NEC3 PSC will be an advantage.
- Project Integration: Proactively integrate with changing project teams, build strong stakeholder relationships.
MY PROFILE
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field. Professional procurement certification preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years in procurement, experience with contracting mechanisms and guiding technical teams. Familiarity with NEC forms of contract.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to integrate with project teams and adapt to change.
