What we do?

As Accenture, we deliver meaningful customer experiences, which is the new battleground for brands. Marketers today are expected to deliver exceptional customer experiences at the right time, with every interaction - acknowledging the individual. With accelerating complexity, delivering a cohesive brand experience remains elusive. Our Clients, especially CMO's, are looking for expert global partners who can create, innovate, activate and scale marketing operations programs that deliver increased impact, powerful customer experiences and marketing-led growth.

Summary

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is 1 of 4 Project Managers (PMs) within the Configurator team.

As a line manager to PMs of varying experience, the SPM leads by example, maintaining best practice on a variety of projects for Jaguar Land Rover's Configurator, where potential customers spec their cars. Reporting to the Project Director, the SPM assists with the smooth running of the team - successful delivery, continuous improvement initiatives, and team growth (training and learning) are all considered fundamental to our success.

Global Project Management is a function of Operations. The Config SPM works closely with the Launch team and Global client to forecast, report, and adapt to the needs of the business. Communication is key, with the SPM's experience being pivotal to ensure clear, timely dialogue.

In the day-to-day management of projects, the SPM is a central stakeholder. Collaborating with a variety of teams, including Account Management, Product and Technical teams - the SPM provides drive to meet key deadlines. Soft skills are fundamental to empower, resolve and primarily avoid issues that could impact delivery.

Using their experience, the SPM avoids waste and advocates synergy with the other departments, ensuring balance between the demands of the client and wider business objectives.

Weekly team meetings and daily participation in our Teams channel ensure information is shared freely regardless of location - we are privileged to have a diverse group of Project Managers based in Birmingham, London, and Mumbai.
