Job Description
Willow Bank residential home is a 63-bed residential home for people living with dementia. We care for people with early on set dementia to end of life dementia care.

Working with the Care Team, you will be passionate about supporting those living with Dementia and leading the way in good quality care. We want you to shift the focus from task led care to a more feelings-based approach and be a role model for the rest of the team.
The role:
This is a brand-new role for us here at Willow Bank House. Key responsibilities are:
- You will monitor staff interaction and wellbeing of people living in the home.
- Coach the team around Dementia care, best practice and making each interaction a personal one.
- Create life history activities.
- Complete observations on staff with regards to dignity.
- Create positive community links.
- Be a champion of choice; encouraging people in the home to make their own decisions.
- Inspire families and visitors to get involved in the running of the home.
- Keep up to date with marketing and be responsible for the home's marketing KPI's.
- Organise a warm welcome to all new residents.
- Ensure and develop a positive PR.
- Develop and maintain activity planner.
- Monitor personal care requirements.
- Supervise and participate in the mealtime experience.
- Oversee documentation around activities and life histories.
- Attend training sessions to extend personal knowledge in relation to dementia care and best practice.
Experience:
· Care Team leader position: 1 year
· Care home experience. 1 Year
· Dementia care. 1 Year
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
