We have two vacancies for Senior Assurance Analysts to join the group-wide Assurance team on a permanent basis and we're open to colleagues working on a hybrid basis from any of our UK sites.
The Assurance team perform continuous Assurance Testing, to assess whether fair outcomes are being achieved across Motor, Property, Structured & Specialist Solutions and Savings.
In conducting these activities, the Assurance Team provides the first line of defence (1LoD) assurance over the customer outcomes being achieved across the Aldermore Group. The team is made up of Assurance Associates/Analysts who report directly to the Assurance Manager.
What will your day look like?
- As a Senior Assurance Analyst, you will perform assurance testing in line with the defined sampling approach and methodology
- You will conduct assurance testing activity to the highest quality, whilst achieving productivity targets.
- Coordinate team calibration and/or levelling sessions to promote consistency of assurance activity.
- Engaging with feedback from monitoring activity undertaken by Assurance Manager and/or 2LoD teams and actively addressing any developmental areas identified.
- Provision of findings and feedback to advisors and line managers in a constructive and positive manner.
- Supporting the collation of findings and regular reporting of results.
- Assisting with trend analysis and wider root cause analysis.
- Driving continuous improvement by highlighting any inefficiencies and assisting with the design of effective solutions.
- Undertaking first review upon any appeals from the customer facing teams, escalating any issues to the Assurance Manager.
- Supporting the Assurance Manager in developing a high performing team through regular and effective coaching and support.
What do we expect from you?
- Previous, demonstrable experience in a quality assessment and/or customer outcome testing role
- Experience within mortgages / property would be highly beneficial
- Strong knowledge of regulatory expectations in the requisite area (i.e. MCOB and CONC regulations) and awareness of what constitutes fair customer outcomes
- A commitment to ensuring customers receive fair outcomes
- A holistic mindset which considers all relevant factors when reaching conclusions
- A high level of accuracy and keen attention to detail
- The ability to provide written content which is clear and concise in its messaging
- Strong verbal communication skills which can deliver feedback in a constructive manner
- Resilience in relation to the receipt of constructive feedback and an ability to deal with challenge
- CeMAP qualification is desirable
