Job Responsibility:

Trading Services Analyst - JP Morgan - London - 6 months contract - Hybrid - PAYE

We are seeking a Trading Services Analyst to join JP Morgan in London on an initial 6 months contract. Within this role, you'll be responsible for performing control reconciliations to verify trade positions, investigating settlements, and focusing on process re-engineering and automation.

Ideally you will have previous Trade capture experience but we will also consider entry level candidates with at least some level financial services experience and who are proficient with MS Excel, strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Upload market data to different risk management systems
• Perform reconciliations against market sources
• Perform numerous control reconciliations to verify trading positions are accurate through front office to middle office reconciliations, middle office to back office reconciliations
• Investigate and provide solutions to various queries from settlements and confirmations
• Produce management statistics
• Complete operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements (new system implementations)

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• Strong logical/analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
• Process flow understanding, including ability to understand current flows and linkage between systems and think how the process can be improved/streamlined
• Availability to work from 10 am to 8 pm at times
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

*Please note that this role will be working on a hybrid model of 3 days office based and up to 2 days wfh. When working from home you'll require your own device.*

Job Type: Temporary contractContract length: 6 months

Pay: £200.00-£300.00 per day
