About the role

Our Family Support Advisors are required to provide flexible, practical, documented family support as required by the Early Help Voluntary Sector Early Help contract in line with the Right Help Right Time framework.

You will deliver early intervention and prevention initiatives to support to families and young people build resilience, focusing on the service aims, families` preferences and self and professionally assessed risks and needs.

You will be required to meet high standards of GSA customer service and co-production when working with client families and related professionals across West Balsall Heath, Sparkbrook and East Balsall Health and Sparkhill wards of Hall Green Constituency. This will involve working in partnership with the wider Green Square Accord`s Early Help teams to screen and triage cases and help families connect with support near to where they live.

Sparkbrook Children`s Zone is an integrated health and social care pilot, which requires all staff involvement in case reviews, learning and evaluation.

About you

We are looking for dynamic and energetic Family Support expert, capable of supporting children, young people and families with care and compassion. You will need to be digitally literate, with a good understanding of the importance of inclusivity, equity and diversity.

As a Family Support expert, you should have a good understanding of child safeguarding, risks, trauma and challenges vulnerable children and adults may face. Safeguarding, professional boundaries, client confidentiality and professional collaboration is key. Reporting and record keeping is vital to support families and demonstrate the impact of Sparkbrook Children`s Zone, which supports opportunities for future funding.

For this role you will require NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require evidence of the required certificates and qualifications for this role. Without this evidence, you would be unable to commence employment at GreenSquareAccord.
