We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Product Manager to join our Treasury Services FX Solutions team. This role is located in London. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Responsible for product management, development, and strategy for FX products that are very large or complex and have strategic importance. Role may not be linked to a specific product. Typically works on product areas with high-growth potential or that offer a niche/specialty service and has deep knowledge of industry trends, market segments and competitor services/offerings. Studies, develops, and shares complex client requirements and develops solutions that may involve more than one product. Responsible for the operationalization and commercialization of high-growth, rapidly changing, and sophisticated products, requiring the synthesis of multiple variables including vendor/partner dependencies, payment message formatting, and channel integration. Role will require intricate collaboration with key internal stakeholders and partners, with a focus on precision and urgency to meet the changing demands of the market and clientele. Must grasp the economic principles of FX products and show business savvy. In charge of developing and implementing the plans for product creation and delivery. Must be aware of market conditions to meet the needs of different regions and outperform competitors. Has direct accountability for product profitability across a variety of big, complex, and globally different products with regional differences. Recognized as a specialist on a product portfolio that is vital to the firm's strategy. Develops product management plans and sets assessment criteria and performance indicators. Manages pricing, promotion, distribution strategies, and unique selling points. Tailors products for specific client segments/regions, emphasizing key benefits and competitive edges. Collaborates with sales and relationship management teams to support sales activities, and ensure a seamless process throughout commercialization with prospecting, solutioning, implementation, promotion to production, and ongoing servicing. Develops and manages OKRs, revenue targets, profitability, and pricing for assigned products and oversees capital and operating budgets. Mentors junior product managers and collaborates with operations and technology teams during product implementation to ensure that operating plan goals are achieved. Does not have direct reports. Supports the area objectives and profitability of assigned product(s). To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred along with several years total work experience. Experience in Product Management required. Experience in Payments Operations required. Experience in Client Management preferred. Experience in working across multiple, diverse lines of business and functional areas preferred. At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
