Job Responsibility:
Job Description Key Responsibilities Professional responsibilities Bank administrative posts are varied you may undertake a combination of the following: To input and retrieve patient information on PIMS or relevant in house computer system. To deal with patients in person and on the telephone in a polite and courteous manner. To adhere to confidentiality and data protection policies. To deal with enquires by General Practitioners and other external stakeholders. To liaise in person and by phone or email with all levels of medical, clerical and nursing staff and to build good working relationships across these. The making and sending of patient appointments and to deal with all requests for alteration and cancellation of appointments. To ensure that letters received are filed correctly and that filing is kept up to date and stored in accordance with data protection policy. General administrative duties as required including opening and distributing of post and collection of files from wards/departments. Communication To communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team throughout the units/wards and Trust. To maintain patient confidentiality at all times. To liaise and communicate effectively with patients and relatives referring them to the nurses regarding their care, treatment and discharge process. To adhere to the Trust Social Media policy.
