Location: Peterborough, Cambs, UK - Hybrid, ideally once per week in the office

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract or Secondment, 12 mths

Are you organised with good administration and systems skills? Do you have good attention to detail and enjoy liaising with and building relationships with internal colleagues and specialist teams? This is a great opportunity to join our small, tight knit yet growing Anaerobic Digestion (AD) team of 7 with Amur Energy, part of the AB Agri group.

Reporting to our Category Manager, this will be a varied role providing efficient administration work to our AD team providing supply chain, operational and finance support to ensure processes run smoothly. You will need to build good working relationships with our commercial support executives, account managers, sales and category managers being pro-active to ensure that administration needed behind the scenes is complete, to deliver an effective and efficient service to our customers.

Day to day you will be dealing with new customer and supplier setup, following up customer, supplier and haulage queries, creation of compliance paper work such as waste transfer notes and spot checking the inhouse process meets our legal obligations. Also collating data and co-ordinating the despatch of loads on our ERP system with relevant departments, raising manual invoices when required and general administration in-line with agreed business processes.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience of working in a administration role previously, with an ability to prioritise and co-ordinate multiple tasks at any one time.
  • Have a flexible approach to teamwork; being able to think on your own, yet care about the broader team, providing cover and sharing workload
  • Great organisation skills with good systems experience working with ERP and Microsoft packages such as outlook and excel.
  • Possess a good level of numeracy, accuracy and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Able to be a pro-active and solve an issue before it happens when possible.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, building relationships both with internal colleagues and external customers.
