We are seeking to recruit a full-time Professional Placements Administrator to join our vital placements team within the School of Sport and Health Sciences.

This is a busy and highly responsible role working within a supportive and well established team. You will have responsibility for organising and monitoring the placement of students with external placement providers. This will involve assessing the suitability of placements and match students to placements appropriately. You will have extensive contact with students and staff at a variety of levels within the University, and external placement provider contacts, providing practical advice and up to date placement data.

To be successful, you should have:

  • The skills to be able to build networks, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good customer service experience, which will include excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately.
  • Good IT skills, including full working knowledge of MS Office.

The role is eligible for agile working, meaning you could work from home for part of the week, to be arranged with your manager and after your initial training. Whilst the role is offered as full-time (37.0 hours per week), we welcome applications form candidates seeking to job share.
