The base We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We're close to our clients, in the heart of the UK's financial centre. And we have everything we need to work flexibly.
The team The newly formed Schroders Solutions division currently looks after £235bn in assets across DB, DC and Insurance clients, predominantly based in the UK. You'll be working in the UK Client Solutions team. We are responsible for the design and delivery of tailored investment strategies for our clients. We lead engagements with a range of pension scheme clients, bringing deep investment knowledge and investment strategy insights to our client relationships. We come from a variety of backgrounds including pensions, investment and actuarial consulting, solutions and asset management.
What you'll do
- Senior client facing role, leading the Solutions strategic relationship with a portfolio of large UK Defined Benefit and Defined Contributions;
- Leading client teams, management of key client projects working across UK Client Solutions and the wider Solutions business;
- Encompassing the delivery of a wide range of investment services, from designing investment strategy and developing solutions in response to changing market conditions and
- Developing content and supporting the creation of new initiatives and propositions to bring to market across the UK pensions landscape
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Experienced professional with a background in investment consulting and leading large and complex client relationships;
- Great communication and team working skills and a collaborative attitude;
- The ability to work co-operatively with a range of groups and deliver agreed projects on time in line with client expectations;
- A sound working knowledge of UK pension schemes, the investment challenges they face, and the regulatory environment in which they operate.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
- Extensive experience within a solutions, asset management or investment consulting business;
- Experience working with Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes or other institutional investor types and
- Attained a professional qualification such as CFA or actuarial
