Are you passionate about swimming and dedicated to ensuring the safety and skill development of learners? We are seeking a proactive Swim School and Training Manager to lead the operations of our swim lesson programs and training courses. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding safety standards across our facilities. As a Swim School and Training Manager, you will lead and manage swim lesson programs, ensuring they meet financial and performance targets. This includes delivering training courses for Swim Teacher and National Pool Lifeguard qualifications. You will act as the Key Centre Contact for Swim England Qualifications (SEQ) and Royal Life Saving Society UK certifications, ensuring staff competency and compliance. You'll maintain staffing levels, oversee risk assessments, and implement new programs. Managing HR aspects and handling customer feedback professionally are also key responsibilities. The successful candidate would ideally have similar experience within the public or private sector, with experience and ownership in collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to promote and market swim programs effectively. Our full-time positions will Work 37 hours per week. Weekend and evening working will be required, as well as Duty Officer shifts and participation in on-call rota for all sites, providing cover for swimming lessons when necessary. You will be exposed to multiple sites and operations within the Leisure World portfolio and in this multi-skilled role, there will every opportunity for training, growth, development, and promotion.
