If the answer to this is yes, then we have a fantastic opportunity to join the Dorset Integrated Urgent Care Service (DIUCS) as a Business Operations Manager. This is an exciting time to join DIUCS and make a real difference as you lead your team through our on-going Transformation project whilst ensuring national standards and KPI are being met. This role will form part of the Senior Leadership Team, will oversee and lead resource planning activity for DIIUC and provide operational management for our Single Point of Access (SPOA) and Business Support teams. You will be organised, self-motivated, with the ability to remain calm under pressure, have excellent communication skills, good knowledge of data systems and be a problem solver with a positive mind-set. You will have excellent people skills and flexibility in your style of relationship management to support others in bringing about the sustained changes needed for the organisation to succeed and achieve its goals. Importantly you will be a team player who wants to consciously make a difference and be confident in all aspects of operational leadership. This will include: Close working with clinical and non-clinical service leads to maintain effective resource levels that enable DIUCS to deliver high quality and safe patient care. Leading forward planning to ensure the service is appropriately resourced during peak holiday periods. Maintaining a detailed awareness of resource budgets to ensure the service operates within agreed levels. Leading work with clinical and non-clinical service leads to develop effective shift profiling for the service. Maintaining an oversight of Flexible Working Arrangements. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with Trust Bank and Trust Healthroster teams that will support the operational needs of the service. Operational management and leadership of the Single Point Of Access (SPOA) service. You will be responsible for leading the planning, organising, monitoring, directing and controlling of the SPOA service in order to ensure the delivery of high-quality care through engaged and motivated clinical and non-clinical team members ensuring that patient safety is always at the forefront of everything SPOA does. Operational management and leadership of the Business Support teams You will be responsible for leading the planning, organising, monitoring, directing and controlling of the Business Support functions to ensure efficient and effective support functions to IUC clinical services.
