About our Team:
The Transformational Agreement Specialist role sits within the EMEA Library Sales Operations team. We are a friendly, collaborative and diverse team who support, enable and extend the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales function! We focus on providing the tools and resources the business needs to excel at selling Sage products in the library market, and we work with a wide variety of internal teams.

- Able to develop analyse and implement metrics to evaluate and support agreement performance and negotiation

- A superb communicator, able to communicate complex data and principles in an engaging and clear manner.
Your new role:
- Work with Senior Sales leadership and our biggest customers to negotiate and implement transformative Open Access journals agreements to deliver against customer needs and Sage's Open Access and Revenue goals. This will require innovative thinking to develop new models and approaches in a complex sector.
- Foster relationships and work closely with key partners, both internally across different Sage departments, and also with our high value clients.
- Analyse publications, usage and revenue data to develop significant proposals and report on both success and areas requiring development.
- Draft, review, and manage complex and critical contracts.
- Keep abreast of developments in scholarly publishing, Open Access policies and models to support senior leadership.
- Coordinate and deliver workshops, webinars and training sessions to educate researchers and librarians on agreements and compliance with mandates as well as impacting the value customers extract from their Sage agreements.
