Job Responsibility:
Due to the development and expansion of our services to provide a 7 days service we wish to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals to our Radiology Administration Team. The post holder will have knowledge of Radiology services, and will have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills to ensure they can work effectively within the multi-disciplinary team to ensure Radiology continues to provide a high quality service to all its users. They must also be able to show a willingness and ability to support other team member and adapt to changes in the service needs. Previous applicants need not apply. The main duties covered in the role include: Supporting the day to day supervision of the Radiology Administration Team Supporting the induction of new staff to the Radiology Administration Team Working closely with the Administration and Waiting list manager, Deputy Managers and Senior Team Leads to actively manage capacity and demand within all of the Radiology modalities Support the management and supervision of cancer pathways within Radiology. Liaising with internal departments to assist the Trust with long waiters on RTT pathways Support the line management of Band 2 staff within the Radiology Administration Team Based in the North East of England we provide a range of hospital and community health services from our leading facilities, including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Blaydon urgent care centre and Bensham Hospital, all within Gateshead.
