Internal Sales & Business Development Executive

Emsea Ltd is a leading Laser cutting and fabrication company, working with a wide variety of customers both local and nationwide. We are built on a reputation of quality and customer service.

We have an opportunity for a full time Internal Sales & Business Development Executive to join our team.

You will be responsible for cultivating new leads, managing current customer relationships, and delivering outstanding customer service to our valued customers.

No immediate engineering knowledge is necessarily required, we are looking for somebody who has the right attitude to learn and develop into the role.

Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with new and existing customers through various channels, mainly phone.

Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to business growth.

Internal Sales & Marketing Executive key duties include:-

  • Developing existing customer relationships not only to maintain contact with our customer base, but also to find new sales opportunities
  • Managing new enquiries and sales leads, inclusive of cold calling
  • Responding to inbound enquires relating to orders and products.
  • Making outbound calls to the existing database of customers to develop customer relationships and increase accounts spend
  • Arranging face to face appointments for the sales director to visit clients.
  • Producing quotes for clients with technical sales team.
  • Make outbound calls to chase up outstanding quotes within designated time frames
  • Managing the company marketing and social media channels
  • Liasing with external marketing provider

About you:

  • Personality: A hands-on individual who excels in dealing with people from various disciplines, ensuring a smooth and efficient sales process.
  • Have a proactive approach to sales and consistently achieve your activity (new business appointment making) and sales targets
  • You will have experience winning new business and building long lasting relationships with B2B clients.
  • You will be tenacious and have a business curiosity, as this will allow you to identify and explore new business opportunities to drive the best possible outcome for our clients
  • You are consultative, have the ability to question effectively and will be an active listener, you will take the time to fully understand client requirements and be able to advise on potential solutions - always identifying opportunities, but more importantly, looking for a ‘path to yes'
