Job Responsibility:

Job Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented Merchandising Executive (Assistant Merchandiser) to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the coordination and execution of merchandising strategies to drive sales and enhance the customer shopping experience.

The overall purpose is to review stock and sales to ensure that stock is ordered in the right volumes, at the right time to optimise revenue, profitability and stock availability across all categories while working with a wider Merchandising and Buying teams.

Duties:- Support the merchandising team in implementing strategies to maximise profit and minimise loss

- Build reports and analyse sales across all channels and actively trade categories in order to maximise sales, profit and achieve optimum availability throughout the season without overstocking- Ensure department stock targets are met at all times, all purchase orders are placed, negotiated and confirmed in timely manner- Support in developing, executing, and evaluating product promotions and campaigns- Conduct data analysis to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement- Coordinate with supply chain partners to ensure efficient product flow

Experience:- Proven experience in merchandising or related field- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions- Knowledge of supply chain processes and systems- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams- Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for data analysis
