As the Vice President of Sales at Amach, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales team from the ground up. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that drives revenue growth and establishes Amach as a market leader in the Aviation industry. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious sales leader to make a significant impact and shape the future success of our company.

Key Responsibilities & Duties Include:

  • Sales Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the overall business objectives
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to define sales targets, quotas, and revenue goals
    • Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry trends
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team
    • Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to ensure professional growth and success of team members
    • Foster a positive and collaborative sales culture focused on achieving and exceeding targets
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners
    • Collaborate with the marketing and customer success teams to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction
    • Ensure the delivery of exceptional service and support throughout the sales cycle
  • Sales Execution:
    • Lead the execution of the sales plan, ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales targets
    • Implement effective sales processes, methodologies, and tools to optimize performance
    • Monitor and analyse sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
    • Work closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and operations to ensure a seamless customer experience
    • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer needs and market trends
  • Revenue Forecasting and Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for executive leadership
    • Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges
    • Present regular updates on sales performance to the executive team

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the technical services industry
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of the technical services market and emerging industry trends
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Good knowledge of the aviation sector is a distinct advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field - Master's degree preferred
