Job Description

This is a pivotal role in understanding our current ways of working, identifying limitations and possible problems, and running initiatives to drive tangible improvements to commercial outcomes and a culture of continuous improvement within the commercial areas of the business.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will work closely with business transformation team to delineate and propel commercial excellence across the entire organization.

Your primary responsibility will entail leading and executing a spectrum of commercial initiatives geared towards augmenting end-to-end sales performance, as well as bolstering employee and customer contentment. These initiatives underpin the ongoing evolution of our commercial functions, ensuring that our sales teams worldwide are equipped with the requisite tools and methodologies to thrive.

Examples are sales process optimization, pipeline management, sales management and improving commercial skills of our salespeople working in our worldwide selling entities.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated individual who is proactive and holds strong organisational skills.

Experience requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of structured process, innovation and problem-solving tools and methodologies
  • Proficiency in the implementation and refinement of CRM and ERP systems and workflows, including data management and KPI dashboards
  • Demonstrated capability in steering and overseeing projects/initiatives to fruitful outcomes
  • Evidence of adeptness in change management and project management, facilitating successful enhancements
  • Have experience of working in a similar position previously within a matrix organisation

The Successful Candidate:

  • Possesses gravitas and credibility, adept at exerting influence over key internal stakeholders
  • Exhibits strong analytical acumen, capable of swiftly assimilating intricate data
  • Boasts exemplary written and verbal communication skills, coupled with adeptness in presentations
  • Experience with Sales methodologies, Lean improvement techniques, or similar, in Sales & Marketing is a pre.
