Role Description

Job Purpose

To ensure all raw materials are delivered in time to meet production requirements

Dimensions

  • Controlling and maintaining stock levels for over 90 products
  • £15M worth of Oil/ingredients per year
  • Constantly in contact with suppliers

Principal Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of oil ordering and scheduling EOL Belvedere
  • Ensure all ingredients are ordered and on site ready for blending/production.
  • On a daily basis liaising with RLB buying to ensure all contracts are in place
  • Liaising with third party haulage for all incoming deliveries
  • Communicating with RLB buying any incoming supply issues
  • Attending daily production meetings advising of any supply issues
  • Work closely with Planning and office team, and contribute to team based improvements
  • Providing cover to the Stock Controller during holidays and other absence
  • Providing cover to bottle scheduling during holidays and other absence
  • Over seeing the day to day running of bulk oils when Materials manager is on holiday or absent.
  • Raising of production orders for blends.
  • All aspects of stock control and purchasing of White Fats
  • Providing Napolina finance information to RLB weekly (Sales, Forward projection for production and Stock holding).
Continuous Improvement Activities
  • Training other members of Planning team
  • Involvement in BRCA (Breakdown and Root Cause Analysis)
  • Active member of any relevant focused improvement groups
  • Familiar with the key aspects and assist in deployment of the Belvedere ‘ Must win battle plan'.
