Job Responsibility:

Grade UE05: £27,979 to £32,332 per annum Centre for Cardiovascular Science Full time: 35 hours per week Open ended: Permanent

The Opportunity:

The post holder will provide administrative secretarial support to a range of Principal Investigators and committees, as well as core administrative support to the Centre for Cardiovascular Science.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Must have a strong administrative background either with relevant experience or a relevant qualification.
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to handle multiple competing tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary, multi-collaborative environment.
  • Able to use initiative to decide the prioritisation of own workload.
  • Proactive attitude to problem solving.
