Job Summary: This role will support the performance of the Collections & Credit Management team for EMEA (including BPO performance) ensuring KPIs are delivered on a consistent basis; minimising bad debt, held orders, disputes & maintaining audit standards for the business. This role will help support and drive a continuous improvement plan focusing on people, processes and systems within both the internal Farnell team and wider stakeholders including the extended Business Process Outsource provider. What will you be doing?

• Responsibility of the key accounts sales ledger
• Escalation point for complex account queries
• To deputise for Assistant Credit Manager
• Management of own and shared email inboxes
• Credit Limit decisioning
• KPI Reporting
• SOX Reporting
• Stakeholder engagement
• To embed change and improvement.
• Bank approvals
• Lead change initiatives and promote a culture of adaptability
• Coach & lead others by driving best practice

Job Level Specifications:

• Strong credit control experience gained in a B2B environment
• Knowledge of customer portals and invoice submission methods
• Ability to interact with global colleagues
• Proven problem solving skills with the ability to make high quality, commercially focused, credit decisions.
• A proven track record of successful stakeholder management
• Developing collection strategies
• Excellent time management skills
• Experience of mentoring or coaching staff
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of financial & IT systems
• Advanced Excel skills
