We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Marketing & Communications Manager. You will have a digital mindset, interest in people, hospitality, events, and storytelling; and be able to constantly seek innovative ways to enliven and connect with our global community via digitally driven campaigns.

Working as a key part of an in-house Communications team, reporting to the Head of Communications, you will be responsible for communicating and promoting the membership, hotel, farm and retail proposition, growing and retaining our customer community both online and ‘IRL'. The role requires a confident individual with an eye for detail, brand and audience, and the expertise to find new opportunities for growth with a focus on digital campaigns; building effective strategies to raise awareness, acquire new leads and develop deeper relationships with target audiences according to short- and long-term business objectives.

You will need to be both strategic and creative, implementing comprehensive external communications that span across the sectors of tourism, hospitality, food, drink, and retail. You will utilise a range of platforms to achieve your goals, from digital to printed media, events and activations, engaging existing audiences while constantly thinking of tactical ways to acquire new ones.

From supporting events to handling PR requests and briefing the design of promotional brand materials, this diverse role incorporates a variety of activities that make up everything we do here at The Newt. Key Responsibilities

  • Promoting and developing The Newt's membership, hotel, farm and retail proposition driving brand growth, commercial revenue, and customer retention.
  • Developing email campaigns, managing inhouse newsletter and driving digital membership proposition (Hubspot) to increase engagement, retention, and upsell opportunities. Continuously analyse email performance and report to the wider team.
  • Driving digital marketing initiatives and partnerships, utilizing your strategic mindset to create, execute and monitor digital campaigns across diverse touchpoints.
  • Managing brand website, overseeing copywriter and ensuring real time content whilst understanding analytical tools, such as Google Analytics.
  • Working with Events Manager and Head of Programmes to promote the annual estate programme.
  • Analysing and interpreting customer data and segmentation to continuously improve the proposition
  • Managing internal communications within the estate and beyond with strong collaboration skills across multiple departments - team spirit is essential to you
  • Managing local press to drive traffic to the estate and raise awareness of key estate happenings.
  • Collaborating with Social Media Manager to drive key estate messaging across all digital platforms.
  • Amplifying Partner Garden relationships to drive brand growth and storytelling
