To provide reception and clerical support. The post holder will be required to cover administration staff in the absence of other staff. To be responsible for the accurate and timely filing of documents into the Medical Records when required To comply with all aspects of confidentiality including the Data Protection Act and the Freedom of Information Act. To receive and direct visitors and relatives in a professional and courteous manner at all times and assist in answering queries. Dealing with enquiries from medical staff and the public concerning patients. To inform clinical staff as patients arrive. Answer telephones and relay messages and enquiries in a timely manner e.g. to clinical staff. Report maintenance problems and necessary repairs to Estates Department.
