Job Responsibility:

Full Time - Permanent - 37 hours per week - Ideally located within 1 hour of Peterborough

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Business Insights and Analytics team as an Assets Data Analyst!

This role will be responsible for maintaining and improving the accuracy, integrity and quality of the information held on our Asset Management's property management database and other related software systems. The successful incumbent will be required to assist with analysis, planning and collation of data and publishing information. In addition, there will be a requirement to undertake data audits to ensure accurate information is available for decision making, regulatory compliance and strategic planning!

We are looking for someone

  • To co-ordinate the collection and management of stock data and management information throughout the organisation and with our contractor to assist in developing on-going investment programmes.
  • Validate and audit the quality of data entered into the property management database.
  • Support the development of data validation rules and ensure data compliance.
  • Implement follow-up actions to rectify data issues and ensure ongoing data integrity.
  • Ensure our works programmes are correctly recorded in Keystone and produce contract of works for the delivery of the programme on an annual basis.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts.
  • Support the development and management of planned maintenance and improvement programmes
  • Support the GIS and Planning Manager to use data to drive decision making to review exceptional spend and to ensure programmes are providing value for money and make recommendations for future improvements.
  • To support the GIS and Planning Manager with the management of the Keystone system and ensure that data is inputted accurately and timely as the single safe source of Asset Management data.
  • To support the work to exploit the current Asset Management systems in order to automate Asset Management processes, drive efficiency and eliminate waste.
  • To deliver adhoc requests for data to support decisions and projects.

Essential Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and experience of data management.
  • Experience of working with asset or property data.
  • Experience of using SSRS reporting with an understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Expert Excel skills, with an analytical and methodical approach.
  • The ability to enter data accurately and efficiently with a high level of attention to detail.
  • The ability to understand technical terms and basic understanding of environmental and sustainability issues.
  • Understands the importance of documentation and audits.
  • Ability to build and sustain strong working relationships across the organisation.

Desirable Requirements

  • Understanding of property and asset matters within a social housing discipline.
  • Experience of using Civica's Keystone system
  • A good understanding of Decent Homes, HHSRS, and Energy (RDSAP).
  • Appreciation of GIS and Geospatial principles
  • Working Knowledge of ESRI software.
