Job Responsibility:

We have a vacancy for a Senior Pharmacy Assistant to work in our busy and friendly department. This position is based in Winchester, however there is occasionally a requirement to work across sites. We are looking to recruit a pharmacy assistant to support our procurement team. Prioritisation skills are valued and personal development is encouraged and supported. A good level of English and Maths (GCSE level or equivalent) and computer skills are essential. Physical fitness is required as there is some manual handling involved. Assisting the procurement team in managing out of stock lines and suggesting clinically and financially suitable alternatives. Assist the pharmacy procurement team by managing email accounts and undertaking relevant administrative duties as necessary, including telephone answering, photocopying and maintenance of accurate filing systems. Accurately record invoice queries to ensure they are followed up and there is a clear audit trail of the outcome. Undertake any other duties applicable to the grade/post as required.
