On a daily basis you'll work within our central support office where you will learn to:

• Provide full administrative support to the Procurement Manager and other key stakeholders
• Become skilled in the use of our new Source to Pay platform, Coupa, and other relevant IT packages and systems
• Understand and implement internal procurement and finance processes and procedures
• Build an in-depth administrative knowledge of procurement activities to enhance your ability to support internal customers and suppliers.
• Communicate with suppliers on the telephone, via email and in response to Coupa supplier portal requests
• Effectively deal with procurement-based queries, providing an efficient service supported by effective communication and the ability to produce accurate documentation
• Build excellent working relationships with suppliers, learning to understand their business needs and requirements
• Engage with a wide range of internal customers throughout a large-scale organisation, providing information and working with their preferred suppliers
• Develop the ability to recommend suppliers and provide solutions to procurement-based issues, answering questions and ensuring a comprehensive and effective customer experience every time
• Become an ambassador for our “Customer First” culture, resolving any issues quickly and keeping your customers informed, so that they feel truly valued
• Expand your team working skills with your colleagues and the wider Sunbelt Rentals team
• Manage a varied workday in a fast-paced support office environment, learning to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

We'll provide you with a comprehensive company induction, role-specific training, and apprenticeship support. You will become a part of a larger apprentice cohort where you will be able to form lifelong relationships and engage in a wider support network.

About You

You will be completing a level 3 & 4 Procurement Fast-Track Apprenticeship programme. This combines both the level 3 Business and Administration Standard with the level 4 Commercial Procurement and Supply Apprenticeship, allowing learners to achieve a CIPS diploma whilst developing workplace knowledge and gaining experience in an operational procurement role.

This will be delivered using a combination of;

• Workplace experience to gain practical skills
• Guidance and training from an experienced workplace mentor
• Industry recognised training leading to an apprenticeship qualification and a CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply. The training is delivered remotely and can be completed from the workplace, but occasional travel to attend some face-to-face sessions at a training centre may be required
• Inclusion in relevant Sunbelt Rentals training sessions to develop professional skills. This may require some travel to other business locations
