Job Responsibility:
Complete Care Plus has an exciting opportunity for you to join a Residential Care Home in Bridgend County for Children and Young People.
The Role
You will listen to the individual child/young person to find out how they want to live their lives, what they want to achieve, what works well for them and what doesn't. Your approach will be tailored to the individual child/young person and you will encourage, motivate and support them to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Supporting in all aspects of daily life to be able to integrate into the community
- Attend to their physical and emotional needs
- Involve them in all the decisions and choices that affect them
- Help them retain the highest level of independence as possible
- Supporting them to attend college, go to the gym, attend clubs, go shopping, go to a football match… etc.
Salary and Hours
Flexibility is key here as is the willingness to work a variety of shifts including waking nights, days, evenings, and weekends.

Experience
Experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided including QCF. All staff are encouraged and will be supported to complete QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care for Children and Young People.
All Staff must complete the SCW Induction and register with Social Care Wales within six months.
Staff will attend courses on a regular basis including, Risk Assessment, Manual Handling, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding, Medication & Administration and more. Training is delivered through both in-house and external trainers.
