About the Role: Apprenticeships are a growing area of business for Anglia Ruskin University working with hundreds of employers across the UK. We are one of the leading university providers of apprenticeships in England with over 3000 current enrolments. We have launched the careers of apprentices in key public service professions such as nursing and policing, as well as construction, technical and business subjects. The Head of Apprenticeships Academic Quality will play a key role in the design and governance of our apprenticeship programmes. They will support the Dean of ARU School of Apprenticeships and the Deputy Academic Registrar in leading, overseeing and enhancing the academic quality of ARU's apprenticeship provision. To meet our objectives, they will work closely with Faculty and course teams to understand apprenticeship Standards and PSRB frameworks. In conjunction with compliance experts within the School of Apprenticeships, they will ensure that our programmes are designed and delivered in compliance with funding rules. They will also be instrumental in establishing and supporting communities of best practice across ARU to continue to enhance our offer. Requirements for the role: Successful candidates will have a higher degree or relevant postgraduate professional qualification. They'll be experienced in quality assurance within complex regulatory frameworks, and will have a track record of supporting colleagues in aspects relating to curriculum design, compliance and QA of apprenticeships. They'll be comfortable merging and interpreting data, be impact focused and capable of establishing and supporting communities of practice.
