About the role

As our Lifestyle Administrator the purpose of this role will be to support the Lifestyles team with the administration of purposeful activities appropriate to residents' needs and requests. Working with the lifestyle team to ensure that a wide variety of social activities are organised, meeting the needs and requirements of all residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • To support the lifestyle team through administration such as making bookings, creating planners keeping an up-to-date diary, minute taking at monthly meetings, liaising with the lifestyles team, the marketing team and the Home Manager.
  • Plan and initiate with your team monthly rolling / individual programme of events and activities, and encourage the residents to maintain pre-existing hobbies. Facilitate residents to socialize and provide a variety of activities that cater for all tastes and that of good person-centered care.
  • To ensure 7 days service of lifestyles across the home
  • Respond and report on quickly and effectively on issues raised and discuss possible solution focused problem solving.
  • Communicate effectively in a professional manner at all times no matter who you are dealing with and ensure effective English in written and spoken versions.
  • Attend and support internal team meetings to ensure continuity.
  • Encourage Staff members, relatives and friends to participate in Care Home activities.
  • Help to create a supportive atmosphere that suits individual residents within the Home and the social inclusion agenda linking with external organizations and community groups to bring the community to the care home
