Come and join our teamWe are looking to recruit a highly motivated Contract Monitoring Officer who can pay high attention to detail, to monitor and review the commissioned packages delivered within children services. Experience of commissioning including contract monitoring is advantageous for the role. The successful candidate will work as part of the growing Children's Services Planning, Performance and Commissioning Team.
The post holder will be required to monitor and review ongoing and new contracts, ensuring that the commissioned services are appropriate, meet the needs of children and young people, are of high quality and provide good value for money.
The postholder will be required to travel in and out of county to undertake monitoring visits of placements for vulnerable children to ensure quality and level of care is reflective of the agreement in place with the provider.
You will be required to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including providers, to ensure smooth contract delivery and building positive working relationships.
The successful applicant will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
