Hours: Monday to Friday - 35 hours per week

- This role reports to the Debt Recovery Manager and working within a team of up to 7 colleagues.
Main Responsibilities
- The Administrator is responsible for providing general administrative duties and support for the team in the recovery of Service Charge and/or Ground Rent arrears after our Clients have completed their in-house processes.
- The Debt Recovery Administrator will be responsible for aiding the process of recovering outstanding arrears from referral to recovery stage or up to the stage where legal proceedings are required. This list is not exhaustive.
- Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries by telephone, email & post.
- Providing excellent customer service to over 1300 leaseholders and residents.
- Ensuing all queries from all sources are adequately answered, quickly and efficiently in accordance with internal guidelines.
- Carrying out Land Registry searches and cross-referencing of data.
- Checking Lease/TP1 documents for interest rates.
- Production of letters in line with internal procedures.
- Agree and monitor payment plans.
- Take credit/debit card payments over the telephone.
- Managing incoming and outgoing post.
- Accurate scanning and filing of letters/court documents.
Skills and Experience
- Previous Credit Control or Customer Service experience essential.
- Confident, articulate communicator - both orally and in writing; able to build relationships with all types of customers and clients with a resolution focused mentality whilst also being creative in your approach.
- Able to work with autonomy and as part of a wider team.
- Efficient in maintaining administration and record keeping electronically.
- Ability to work under pressure deadlines, able to prioritise and manage time effectively.
- Excellent IT skills, social-media awareness and up to date with new technology.
