Job Responsibility:
With an immediate start, we are currently seeking a Management Accountant, to operate from our Essex Office based in Thurrock, near Chadwell St Mary.
Salary is Negotiable, please state salary expected on applying, with a full CV.
Working hours 8.00 - 5.00, Monday - Friday.
This is a very varied and interesting role, some aspects of the position are as follows, (but not limited to):
- Producing financial statements including profit and loss accounts, monthly management accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries, together with balance sheet analysis.
- Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed.
- Inter-company balances, accounts, accruals & prepayments.
- Assisting with statutory accounts, fixed assets, depn & hp accounts.
- Debtor management. Purchase ledger and nominal management.
- VAT Returns.
- CIS deductions, and submission returns.
- Supervising 2 accountancy staff.
- Knowledge of Sage Accounts, Sage Payroll, Excel skills necessary.
- Working knowledge of Sage Construction Industry (Sage Cis) is essential.
Henderson & Taylor (PW) Limited are a medium sized civil engineering company, which was established in 1964. We currently hold several long term contracts with public sector clients across the South East of the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant, ideally with experience in the construction sector or previous accountancy practice, to have an integral part in a well-established company during a substantial growth mode.
