We're on the hunt for an experienced Account Manager (North ) reporting to UK & I Country Manager who will play a key customer facing role in driving the sale of Elekta's whole product solutions portfolio. What you'll do at Elekta As an Account Manager (North) you will be working with business units and other Business line specialists, and you will be responsible for the development and subsequent delivery of plans and programs that improve the Business Units' ability to achieve increased sales of products and services. This position requires a strong focus on customer engagement and the application of specialized sales knowledge and skills. Please note that this role does require you to travel across the northern part of the UK up to 70% of the time. The Account Manager responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • To ensure that all customers are provided with high quality care and attention throughout the sales process, so that each customer is fully satisfied with the support they receive from Elekta.
  • To secure orders for the installation of new systems and upgrades to current user base. To maintain customer account, opportunity, and contact information in the Elekta CLM system.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships including healthcare professionals, business managers and funding providers.
  • Manage customer accounts and act as primary point of contact for all aspects of their relationship with Elekta - initial contact, sales/pricing negotiation, delivery, installation, training, support, and service.
  • To carry out without supervision core tasks within acceptable timescales prompting escalation of the problem if required and maintaining ownership of problem until customer is satisfied.
  • Ensure that customers are satisfied with the services delivered by Elekta. Manage any conflicts that arise continuously striving to improve customer satisfaction.

  • Skilled presenter and speaker including in approved social media forums.

What you'll bring
  • Degree or relevant qualification within Therapeutic Radiography.
  • Solid knowledge and experience of the medical devices industry.
  • Ideally at least 3 years clinical experience with some experience of working in the treatment planning arena.
  • High level sales and negotiation skills and experience.
  • Medical equipment sales experience is highly desirable.
  • Ideally skills in Biomedical engineering or Physics and/or competences in information systems in the hospital world.
  • Highly proficient IT skills essential.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Elekta's product portfolio with a strong background in Radiography and knowledge of clinical workflow.
  • Demonstrable business acumen and commercial mindset.
